Can I cancel or make changes to my order?

If you wish to cancel or make any other changes to your order, contact us as soon as possible during normal business hours at (415) 642-6771 or parkstore@parksconservancy.org. Please have your contact information and order number available for faster service.

I'm having trouble placing an order. What can I do?

If you experience technical difficulties while attempting to place your online order, please contact us at (415) 642-6771 or parkstore@parksconservancy.org—our customer service representatives are available to walk you through online ordering. If you prefer, we can process your order over the phone.

Do I need to pay sales tax?

The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy is required to collect sales tax in all states where we have a business presence. Since our business is based solely in the San Francisco Bay Area, customers who live outside of California will NOT be charged sales tax.

What is a member discount and how do I sign up?

We are proud to offer a 15% discount on all purchases made by current Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy members. This discount is applicable at all park store locations, including our online stores.

Shipping

How are shipping costs determined?

All domestic orders are shipped through the US Postal Service, using the mail service of your choice. Shipping and handling rates are based on your order's packaged weight, dimensions, and destination.

How do I check the status of my order?

After completing your online order, you will receive a confirmation email with a summary of your purchase, shipping, and payment information. If you created an account with us, you can login online to check the status of your order.

As soon as your order ships from the warehouse, typically within 48 hours from the time of purchase, you will receive another email notification with tracking information.

When will I receive my items?

All domestic orders are are shipped through the US Postal Service, using the mail service of your choice.

As soon as your order ships from the warehouse, you will receive an email notification with tracking information. Please note that we do not ship orders on Saturdays, Sundays, or major holidays.

If you do not receive an email containing tracking information within 48 hours, or your package does not arrive within its estimated shipping window, please contact us at (415) 642-6771 or parkstore@parksconservancy.org.

Do you offer express shipping?

We are proud to offer express shipping through our partners at the US Postal Service.

Express orders received before 2:00 pm PST will be shipped the same day. All express orders received after 2:00 pm PST will be shipped the following day, unless the order is received Friday after 2:00 pm PST or over the weekend. Weekend orders will ship the following Monday.

I want to send items internationally. Can I do that?

Yes. We ship to most countries serviced by the US Postal Service.

Shipping and handling rates are based on your order's packaged weight and destination, but do NOT include fees incurred through Customs. You are responsible for all applicable customs duties, tariffs, or Value Added Tax (VAT), which are collected by the carrier upon delivery.

International delivery time is typically 6 to 10 business days, barring any unforeseen delays in Customs.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

We're sorry, we are unable to offer gift wrapping services at this time. We are, however, happy to include a gift note with your shipment.

If you would like to include a gift note with your order, please include a comment at checkout. If you have already placed your order but would like to add a note, please contact us as soon as possible at (415) 642-6771 or parkstore@parksconservancy.org.

Returns and Exchanges

Can I return and/or exchange items from my order?

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return items for replacement, exchange, or refund within 30 days of purchase.

All returned merchandise must be in original condition. Apparel must be unwashed and unworn. Any non-apparel items must be unused and in original packaging. All shipping and handling fees are non-refundable unless it is determined that the incorrect product was shipped.

Why doesn't my shipment include a receipt?

To support our mission of promoting and adhering to environmentally-friendly and sustainable practices, we reduce paper waste whenever possible—this includes sending email receipts instead of paper receipts for online orders.

I bought an item from a store in the park. Can I do an exchange with you?

We are unable to process park store returns and exchanges through our website. To find contact information for any of our eight park stores, please visit our Store Hours and Locations page.

I returned an item from the online store. Why is that charge still showing on my credit card statement?

Once we receive your returned items, it can take an additional 7-10 business days for the return to fully process and the credit to appear on your credit card statement. Please note that all shipping and handling fees are non-refundable (unless it is determined that the incorrect product was shipped) and will not appear on your statement.

Where are your retail locations in the park?

Working with our partners at the National Park Service, the Golden Gate Bridge Highway and Transportation District, and the Presidio Trust, we are proud to serve visitors at seven visitor centers and retail locations throughout the Golden Gate National Parks: Alcatraz Island, Golden Gate Bridge, Muir Woods, Crissy Field, Lands End, Fort Point, and the Presidio of San Francisco.

How do I get tickets to Alcatraz?

Alcatraz City Cruises is the official concessioner to the National Park Service, offering tickets and transportation to Alcatraz Island. To purchase tickets, please visit www.alcatrazcruises.com.
